Founder Adolf ‘Adi’ Dassler started making shoes in 1924 and founded his illustrious company Adidas in 1949. The label’s iconic three stripes insignia was used to identify the brand’s footwear from 1967 and in 1971 the legendary trefoil logo was first unveiled. The instantly recognisable three-leaf shape was designed to represent the main landmasses of the Americas, Europe and Africa and Asia. It is presented across the front of this Adidas gym sack backpack, which comes complete with drawcord shoulder straps, a side zip pocket, a single main internal compartment and a three stripe woven logo tab to one side.
